In Thursday's non-league game, the Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ) football team knocked off the visiting Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ), by a score of 30-7.
The Bishops (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers come into the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Neptune was knocked off by Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ), 19-14, in a non-league game.
The Knights now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Eastside for a Super - Freedom Blue game on Thursday, November 23. Kennedy will battle a Ghosts team coming off a 27-6 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Ghosts record now stands at 4-7.
