In Thursday's league match, the host Putnam City Pirates football squad scored a big 71-13 victory over the Northwest Classen Knights.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 10. Putnam City will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 51-20 league loss to Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK).
