The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons held off the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Gryphons now sport a 18-0 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a non-league match on Monday, November 6. Thomas Jefferson will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Corvian Community drops to 9-9 on the season.
