The Hopewell Titans soccer team (Huntersville, NC), was nipped 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

With the win, South Mecklenburg advances its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to battle the Pirates in a non-league outing on Monday, November 6. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 15-5. Porter Ridge won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)
