Next up, the Mustangs face the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 7. Denver City will attempt to better on its 40-6 season record. The Bucks go into the contest with a 31-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Friona (Friona, TX).

With the loss, Dalhart moves to 10-12 on the year.
