Texas High School Basketball - Second Baptist overwhelms Midland Christian

November 2, 2024: Midland, TX 79705

The Second Baptist Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Midland Christian Mustangs to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Westbury Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 5. Second Baptist will play a Wildcats team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Midland Christian falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 5. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-0. Midland Classical Academy won 72-16 in their recent non-league game against Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy (Midland, TX)
