In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils football squad scored a close 35-31 triumph over the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers.

The Blue Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Steelers come into the District 10 Region 1 match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Farrell tipped Seneca (Erie, PA), 44-7, in a non-league match.
