The Valley Stream North Spartans football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Mineola Mustangs to 13 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Stream South for a non-league test on Saturday, November 9. Valley Stream North will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 28-21 league win over Malverne (Malverne, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Mineola drops to 1-7 on the campaign.
