In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Southside Sharks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Assumption Mustangs.
The Sharks (23-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks come into the non-league challenge with a 21-14 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Chapelle lost by Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
