In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Fontainebleau Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets.
The Bulldogs (29-12) will now prepare for their challenge against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 37-10 record. In their last challenge, John Curtis Christian beat Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 2. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to upgrade on its 17-15 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 26-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Live Oak (Watson, LA).
