The Burleson Elks basketball team (Burleson, TX), was overwhelmed 67-33 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX)
The Dons now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odessa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 21. Palo Duro will confront a Bronchos team coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 2-5.
The Elks (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Amarillo trounced Dumas (Dumas, TX), 67-36, in a non-league battle.
