Tioga Indians (Tioga, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA), 51-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tioga upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Richwood (Monroe, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Richwood lost 67-15 in their recent non-league bout against Alexandria (Alexandria, LA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Madison (Tallulah, LA).
