Louisiana High School Basketball - South Plaquemines can't hold off Chalmette

The Chalmette Owls basketball team scored 51 points and held the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes to 44 in the Owls non-league triumph on Monday.

The Owls now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belle Chasse for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Chalmette will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-1.

The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Olympians enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Sarah T. Reed nudged Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
