Texas High School Basketball - Pollok Central tops Chireno

Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX), 54-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pollok Central upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Trinity (Trinity, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Owls play the Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Chireno will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
