Illinois High School Basketball - Sandburg can't hold off Crete-Monee

The Crete-Monee Warriors basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Sandburg Eagles to 64 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Crete-Monee will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was nudged by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 41-23, in a non-league contest.
