The Deer Valley Wolverines basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Valley Vikings to 28 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Deer Valley will meet a Falcons team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Richmond, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was routed by Balboa (San Francisco, CA), 66-58, in a non-league contest.
