Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions (Florissant, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Alton-Wood River Oilers (Wood River, IL), 57-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gateway Legacy Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Explorers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Marquette Catholic won 58-37 in their recent non-league bout against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL)
