Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX), 63-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gatesville upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX) to clash with the Badgers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lampasas won 72-65 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside Early College (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Lorena will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 68-49 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, TX).
