The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Lockport Porters to 40 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lemont for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 22. Romeoville will battle a Lemont HS team coming off a 61-25 non-league win over Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 1-0.
The Porters (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lemont was routed by Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 67-52, in a non-league contest.
