In Monday's non-league outing, the New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), by a margin of 51-31.

The Pretzels (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia was knocked off by North Mac (Virden, IL), 40-36, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Crusaders play the North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 40-36 non-league win over Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL).
