The Saltillo Lions basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Rivercrest Rebels to 50 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maud for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Saltillo will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 55-48 non-league win over Queen City (Queen City, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

The Rebels (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Pewitt was defeated by Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
