Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), 59-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lafayette Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to South Beauregard (Longville, LA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-1. South Beauregard lost 55-47 in their recent non-league bout against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 28. Albany will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Skippers enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 53-19 non-league win over St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA).
