Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spurger Pirates (Spurger, TX), 54-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Diboll upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Warren (Warren, TX) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Warren lost 37-33 in their recent non-league bout against Brookeland (Brookeland, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 28 bout, on Friday, December 15. Spurger will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
