Marshall Christian Academy Guardians (Marshall, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX), 40-18 in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Guardians face the Word of God Academy Force (Shreveport, LA) in a Freelance game, on Saturday, December 2. Marshall Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Force enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 52-22 non-league loss to Providence Classical Academy (Bossier City, LA).

With the defeat, Elysian Fields moves to 2-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 21. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 0-3. Hughes Springs lost 41-15 in their recent non-league game against Campbell (Campbell, TX)
