The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars basketball team (Bassfield, MS), was nudged 51-49 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS)
The Pioneers now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Pike for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 21. Parklane Academy will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
The Jaguars (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Wayne County edged Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS), 47-28, in a non-league battle.
