Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 76-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Broughton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Capitals travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Green Hope lost 52-42 in their recent non-league bout against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 39-32 non-league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).
