In Monday's non-league outing, the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC), by a count of 50-47.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Hickory Grove Christian was tipped by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 55-46, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Victory Christian Center for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 28. Carmel Christian will clash with a Kings squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Kings record now stands at 1-0.
