The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Christ the King Crusaders to 38 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Union Academy will meet a Pirates team coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.

The Crusaders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
