Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Life Oak Cliff Lions (Dallas, TX), 51-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mildred upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Lions play the Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Life Oak Cliff will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 38-21 non-league win over West (West, TX).
