Washington, DC High School Basketball - Takoma Academy overwhelms Model Secondary School for the Deaf

The Takoma Academy Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles to 29 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Shenandoah Valley Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, November 23. Takoma Academy will confront a Stars team coming off a 62-32 non-league win over Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Stars record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Model Secondary School for the Deaf falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-0.
