In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Westlake Warriors basketball team scored a close 59-56 triumph over the Chaminade Eagles.
The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Buena (Ventura, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Buena nipped Camarillo (Camarillo, CA), 48-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 21. Chaminade will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Scorpions go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 48-47 non-league loss to Buena (Ventura, CA).
