In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Slidell Tigers basketball team scored a big 56-34 triumph over the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Chapelle smashed Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), 47-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 65-63 non-league win over South Beauregard (Longville, LA).
