North Carolina High School Basketball - Berry can't get by Ashbrook

November 20, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054

The Berry Cardinals basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 59-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC)

With the victory, Ashbrook advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Greenwave travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 3. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Cardinals now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garinger for a non-league battle on Monday, November 25. Berry will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-28 non-league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
