Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Estancia Eagles (Costa Mesa, CA), 58-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bolsa Grande advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Matadors travel to Western (Anaheim, CA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange for a non-league match on Friday, January 3.
