In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Alexander Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 68-54 triumph over the Highlands Owls.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, East Central notched a victory over United (Laredo, TX), 95-62, in a non-league match.
The Owls now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony for a non-league match on Friday, November 21. Highlands will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 70-67 non-league win over Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-5.
