North Carolina High School Basketball - Topsail knocked off by Cleveland

In Thursday's non-league test, the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC), by a score of 66-48.

Next up, the Rams meet the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, November 24. Cleveland will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 58-32 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC).

The Pirates now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Bern for a non-league battle on Friday, November 21. Topsail will meet a Bears squad coming off a 75-28 non-league win over Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
