The Steele Knights walloped the visiting Morton Ranch Mavericks basketball team by a tally of 80-47 in Thursday's non-league game.
The Knights now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a non-league game on Friday, November 21. Steele will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 82-47 non-league win over Melissa (Melissa, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-0.
The Mavericks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Alief Taylor (Houston, TX). The Lions come into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Alief Taylor was overwhelmed by Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX), 63-48, in a non-league outing.
