Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 40-34 in a non-league contest.
The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elkhart (Elkhart, TX). The Elks go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Elkhart nipped Lovelady (Lovelady, TX), 45-39, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhart for a non-league match on Thursday, November 20. Cayuga will face a Elks squad coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Lovelady (Lovelady, TX). The Elks record now stands at 3-0.
