In Thursday's non-league test, the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad got by the host Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), by a final score of 37-34.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 21. Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX).
