The Mason Punchers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Sonora Broncos to 23 in the Punchers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Punchers now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league game on Friday, November 21. Mason will confront a Bearkats team coming off a 60-33 non-league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 2-1.

The Broncos (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake View (San Angelo, TX). The Chiefs/Maidens enter the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Lake View was overwhelmed by Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 58-4, in a non-league outing.
