The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes basketball team scored 34 points and limited the host Northside - Pinetown Panthers to 31 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Camden County for a non-league game on Friday, November 21.
