Texas High School Basketball - Follett can't hold off Gruver

The Gruver Greyhounds basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Follett Panthers to 67 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Monday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perryton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Gruver will meet a Rangers team coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Dalhart (Dalhart, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Follett moves to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers host Hedley (Hedley, TX) to meet the Owls in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 29. The Owls enter the match with a record of 3-1. Hedley won 45-40 in their recent non-league match against Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX)
