The Rosebud-Lott Cougars basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Hearne Eagles to 42 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thrall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22. Rosebud-Lott will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Rockdale was nudged by Bartlett (Bartlett, TX), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
