West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX), 65-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Orange-Stark upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Orangefield won 81-35 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Liberty, TX)

Next up, the Warriors play the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Legacy Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 65-52 non-league win over Evadale (Evadale, TX).
