The Mitchell County Eagles routed the visiting Pierce County Bears basketball team by a final score of 82-45 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, November 22. Mitchell County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 58-46 non-league loss to Madison County (Madison, FL).
With the defeat, Pierce County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Wayne County (Jesup, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 3-1.
