New York High School Basketball - Norman Thomas knocked off by Varsity Opponent

The Varsity Opponent basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Norman Thomas Tigers to 62 in the non-league triumph on Monday.

The now sport a 40-142 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maranatha Baptist Academy for a Missouri Christian contest on Monday, November 21. Varsity Opponent will meet a Warriors team coming off a 58-27 league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.

The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ). The Green Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
