Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX), 63-61 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX) to play the Friars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Friars come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Bishop Lynch won 53-38 in their recent non-league test against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX)
The Bloodhounds now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran North for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 22. St. Joseph Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over San Juan Diego Catholic (Austin, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
