The Amarillo Sandies basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats to 28 in the Sandies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Sandies now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lubbock for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 22.

The Bobcats (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Caprock was defeated by Estacado (Lubbock, TX), 63-35, in a non-league contest.
