Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), 63-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Estacado upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Shallowater won 51-45 in their recent non-league bout against Farwell (Farwell, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns play the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Caprock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 47-28 non-league loss to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX).
