Tennessee High School Basketball - Pickens overwhelms Copper Basin

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) and the host Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), saw Pickens's basketball squad wallop Copper Basin by a tally of 61-15.

With the victory, Pickens improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 22. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Gilmer lost 69-36 in their recent non-league battle against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA)

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Towns County was overwhelmed by Union County (Blairsville, GA), 45-37, in a non-league battle.
